Since May is Water Safety Month, and since Dave is a volunteer firefighter, we figured who better to discuss how to stay safe around your hot tub or swim spa.

1. Always watch your children.

2. Limit how long adults and children are in hot water.

3. Limit alcohol use and consult your doctor if you are using prescription drugs.

4. Store water care chemicals in a cool, dry and well ventilated environment and don't mix
